Our Purpose

Our purpose is to live for God and not ourselves. This comes from the Bible verse 2 Corinthians 5:15, which says about Jesus, "He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him who for their sake died and was raised."

Our prayer is to see God save souls and redirect lives for His purpose and glory. 

Our goal is to help people come to faith in Jesus, live out their faith, and grow in their faith based on what the Bible teaches: namely, God's character, purpose, promises, and commandments. 

We preach directly from the Bible every week because God uses the Bible to give us new life in Christ, to give us grace to strengthen and sanctify our hearts, and to give us wisdom for all of lie. 

Our preaching focuses on our need for Jesus and on Jesus' love and faithfulness to meet those needs. We look to Him in faith as our mighty and merciful Savior. He is our Helper, our Good Shepherd. 

Why come? Come to praise God, to hear His Word, and to see Jesus Christ with the eyes of your heart.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105).

"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4).

"And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified" (Acts 20:32).

"My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word" (Psalm 119:28)!
