Our Purpose

Our purpose is to live for God and not ourselves. This comes from the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 5:15, which says about Jesus, "He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for Him who for their sake died and was raised."

Our prayer is to see God save souls and redirect lives for His purpose and glory. Our goal is to help people come to faith in Jesus, live out their faith, and grow in their faith based on what the Bible teaches: namely, God's character, purpose, promises, and commandments. 

We preach directly from the Bible every week because God uses the Bible to give us new life in Christ, administer grace and mercy to our souls, strengthen our faith, turn us from sin, fill us with hope and love, show us our need for Jesus, show us how Jesus meets our needs, purify our hearts and minds, cleanse our consciences, humble and encourage us, enable us to endure hardship, teach us practical wisdom, correct and discipline us, and build us up in the true knowledge of God and His great salvation. 

Nothing is as powerful as God's Holy Word. 

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path" (Psalm 119:105).
